| Eco-friendly insurance features |
We will pay up to $2,500 of the net cost of installing a rainwater storage solution or solar powered heating facility when we rebuild or repair your home when at least 80% of your home is damaged by an insured incident.
When we replace new for old, we replace your damaged white goods with ones of equal specification that have a minimum 3 star energy rating, even if your item originally had a lower rating.

| Optional covers for 55UP Home & Contents Insurance |
Tailor your Insurance cover to suit your needs with the choice of 5 Optional Covers, such as:
- Injury to pet dogs and cats - Your pet dog or cat will be covered up to $500 for necessary veterinary treatment if they are injured in an accident during the period of insurance.
- Motor burnout - We will cover you for the burning out or fusing of household electric motors less than 11 years old, which are part of the insured home or contents
- Accidental damage - We will cover you for accidental loss or damage at the insured address such as accidentally dropping a heavy saucepan onto your kitchen tiles (Home cover) or accidentally spilling a bottle of red wine on your carpet (Contents cover)

- Safety Net Home Protection Option - If your home is damaged by an insured incident and the repair or replacement cost exceeds the sum insured, we will if necessary pay up to an extra 25% of your home sum insured to repair damage, replace your home or pay you what it would cost us to repair or replace your home

Access to legal and medical advice or property maintenance assistance through Suncorp Home Assist. A range of service providers are on hand for you to call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if you require advice on legal and medical matters, or help to search for a local tradesperson to undertake property maintenance. If you require assistance on property maintenance around your home, our service providers can arrange for an accredited tradesperson to contact you within one business day. |

- A 10% premium discount for being 55 or over
- An additional 5% premium discount if you are 60 or over and hold a QLD Seniors Card
- Save 15% off the combined premium when you combine your home and its contents onto one policy
